The view from our 11th story hotel room. We had a west facing room, which made for a nice view of the nearby convention center, and downtown proper in the distance, across the river. The elevator faced Northeast, and when it was clear enough, gave a nice view of the famous Mt. St. Helens (we didn't have the camera on us when we first saw it, and the clouds had come in by the next time we were in the elevator)
